Peninsula School District is offering two summer learning opportunities for our high school students: In-Person Credit Recovery and Online Summer Courses. Please review the program details below.
IN-PERSON CREDIT RECOVERY
This program is designed for students who need assistance with recovering credits required for graduation. Counselors will be advising students who have credit recovery needs in the coming weeks.
Eligible Students: All current 9th through 12th grade students.
Dates and Time: July 6-24, 2026 (Monday through Friday) from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

ONLINE SUMMER LEARNING (.5 CREDIT)
PSD is offering online summer learning classes for students seeking a .5 credit in the following courses:
Students may only enroll into ONE course and seats are limited (priority will be given to incoming Juniors and seniors):
Eligible Students: Incoming 9th through 12th grade students at Gig Harbor, Henderson Bay, and Peninsula High Schools.
Dates: Coursework begins Thursday, June 25. Passing coursework must be completed by Thursday, August 6 at 12:00 pm to receive the .5 credit.
Cost: $200 per course. Financial aid is available for families eligible for free/reduced lunch.
Registration Window: Opens Monday, June 1 and closes Wednesday, June 17 at 12:00 noon.
