  • YMCA Child Care offers free before school care on late start Wednesdays from 8:45am-9:50am.

    Registration for YMCA collaboration at participating schools start on Sept 6th. The program starts on Wednesday, October 5th.

    Follow the registration process above which includes a $50 registration fee and full licensing packet but collaboration child care is free for the entire school year. When you get to step three to choose location and schedule – select Wednesday Collaboration as your schedule.

RIGHT AT SCHOOL

A flyer for after and before school programs in the Peninsula School District for the 2022-23 school year.Every day at Right At School is a chance to learn, play and grow.  Safe and on-site at your school, in a place full of caring educators, new and best friends, and heaps of fun! 

  • Right At School will be available to K–4 families at Minter Creek, Purdy, Pioneer, and Voyager elementary schools for the 2022-2023 school year.

    For those families who wish to participate in this program, it will be available from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. every day school is in session. Families will be able to work with Right At School to create flexible monthly schedules to support your busy lives. Just create your own monthly schedule by choosing 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week. Drop-in care and punch cards also provide flexible options, and Right At School will be available during breaks, non-school days, and summer.

    We look forward to enhancing the educational experience of our students and families through this exciting partnership.

  • Every afternoon, we get homework done first and then we explore a great big universe of learning activities, focusing on skills and subjects that help kids succeed in school.

    • Arts and crafts galore to bring out your child’s inner Picasso
  • We help kids find the laughs and smiles that come from feeling good about oneself, helping others, discovering our own potential, and sharing inner joy with friends and family.

    • Daily activities designed to build positive character traits, self-awareness, and lifelong social skills
    • Opportunities to develop leadership skills and learn the power of teamwork
    • Student-led service projects to build a sense of community and belonging
