Welcome Back! Essential Information for the 2025-26 School Year

Hello Peninsula School District families,

As we approach the start of another exciting school year, we're thrilled to welcome students and families back to our classrooms! The 2025-26 school year begins in less than a month, and we want to begin sharing resources now that you will need for a successful start.

We're putting together a comprehensive set of dates and information for families as you look forward to the first day. Visit our district website to find school calendars, start and dismissal times, enrollment information, and more details about the upcoming year.

Clear Pathways to Success

This year, we're continuing our commitment to ensuring every student can envision their future and develop the tools to achieve their dreams. Our vision extends beyond academic excellence to encompass the whole child: curious learners, creative thinkers, compassionate community members, and confident individuals ready to navigate an ever-changing world.

No-Cost School Supplies

As part of our commitment to creating equitable learning environments for #EveryChildEveryDay, PSD will provide all essential school supplies for every K-12 student at no cost to families. Supplies will be ready and waiting on the first day of school. Specific supply lists for each school and grade level are available in our Back-To-School Guide.

Important Reminders:

  • The first day of school for 1st through 12th grade students is Wednesday, Sept. 3

  • The first day of school for Kindergarten is Monday, Sept. 8

  • Check your school's "Welcome Back" page for school-specific information

  • Bus route information will be available closer to the start date

  • Immunizations are required - ensure your student's vaccinations are up to date

  • Need on-site childcare? Visit our On-Site Childcare web page to learn more.

  • Attend school events and engage with your children about their learning journey

Attendance Matters

Let's be present and powerful this school year! Attendance is one of the main factors in successful education, and we're committed to making this a year where every student develops the vision to see their potential, the courage to pursue their passions, and the skills to make their mark on the world.

We can't wait to see your family at school!
