Peninsula School District Joins Prestigious League of Innovative Schools

Peninsula School District (PSD) has been selected to join the Digital Promise League of Innovative Schools, a national network representing the most forward-thinking education leaders. This prestigious recognition places PSD among 175 districts across 35 states that collectively serve over 4.4 million students.
The League of Innovative Schools connects superintendents and district leaders who are transforming education through innovative practices, cutting-edge research, and collaborative problem-solving. Members gain access to exclusive professional learning opportunities, pilot new educational technologies, and share best practices that benefit students nationwide.
"This achievement reflects our entire community's commitment to educational excellence," said Superintendent Krestin Bahr. "Being part of this network will support our innovation efforts and provide new opportunities to share Peninsula's pioneering work in AI integration, outdoor education, and STEAM programming with educators across the country."
Peninsula was selected based on its demonstrated leadership in educational innovation, including the nationally recognized AI integration program (check out our website, psd401.ai), the award-winning Eagle Quest outdoor education program, early literacy excellence, and groundbreaking initiatives like the new Aviation Academy and inaugural Drone Performance Team.
As a League member, Peninsula will participate in bi-annual national convenings, collaborate on research projects with Digital Promise, and contribute to the development of educational innovations that benefit students far beyond our district boundaries.
This recognition reinforces Peninsula School District's position as a leader in educational innovation and our ongoing commitment to preparing every child to be a successful global citizen.
