Peninsula High School Welcomes New Assistant Principal

PSD and Peninsula High School are thrilled to announce the appointment of Breanne Chapman as PHS’s new Assistant Principal, bringing exceptional educational leadership and a deep commitment to student success to our Seahawk community.
A leader committed to student excellence
Breanne joins PHS with an impressive background in educational leadership and student advocacy. Currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Keithley Middle School in Franklin Pierce School District, she has consistently demonstrated excellence in supporting student achievement while honoring the diverse cultures and identities that strengthen our schools.
Her educational background includes a Master’s in Education with a concentration on Guidance and School Counseling from City University in Seattle and her Principal Certification from Pacific Lutheran University. This combination of counseling expertise and administrative leadership uniquely positions her to support Peninsula students on their academic journeys.
Throughout her career, Breanne has championed initiatives that resonate with PSD’s values. She founded the first Native Cultural Club in Franklin Pierce, creating a space for students to explore their identities while building district awareness around important cultural issues. She also facilitated quarterly parent equity meetings and town halls, strengthening the school-home connection and incorporating family voices into school-wide initiatives.
“I’m very excited to be joining the Peninsula High School community,” Breanne said. “It’s clear that PHS is a place where students, staff, and families come together to build something truly special — and I’m honored to be a part of it.”
As PHS continues to grow and evolve, Breanne’s leadership will be instrumental in maintaining our commitment to academic excellence, student wellbeing, and community partnership.
Please join us in welcoming Breanne to our team!
